The oxazine resins formed by the thermal ring-opening polymerization demonstrate excellent flame resistance, dimensional stability, low water-absorption rate, low permittivity, and heat resistance, and they are attracting attention as new thermoset resins that do not generate byproduct gases during forming and processing.

About the product

We succeeded in the scale-up experiment of DHDPM (dihydroxy diphenyl methane) type benzoxazine in August 2008 and started the sample work. At present, we are examining industrialization of the DHDPS (dihydroxy diphenyl sulfone)  type benzoxazine and are developing benzoxazine that features further heat resistance and can be cured under lower temperatures. In addition, we are ready to propose benzoxazine compounds for which flexible structure designing is possible by combining various types of phenols and amines, depending on customer requirements.
